Suburban Howls

For more than ten years, biologist Jon Way has studied Eastern Coyote populations from Cape Cod to Boston. Jon and his groundbreaking research will be featured in a one-hour documentary film I am currently making.

Tapping into Jon’s 60+ hours of field video, the film will present a unique portrait of individual coyotes’ lives, as they unfold over many years’ time. It is sure to offer a rare and absorbing glimpse into the lives of coyotes residing in this densely populated corridor—including the tremendous challenges they face, such as busy roads and freeways, commuter trains, and an active hunting season.
